Høsten 1992 sto jeg i et mørkerom fylt med forventninger utover det vanlige. For første gang hadde jeg eksponert og fremkalt den helt nye Ilford Delta 100 Professional-filmen og forberedte meg på å lage forstørrelser. I det bildet gradvis kom til syne i fremkallingsskålen under det røde lyset, så jeg en bildekvalitet jeg aldri hadde opplevd før fra en ISO 100 film.

In the autumn of 1992, I stood in a darkroom filled with expectations beyond the ordinary. For the first time, I had exposed and developed the brand new Ilford Delta 100 Professional film and was preparing to make enlargements. As the image gradually emerged in the developing tray under the red light, I saw a picture quality I had never experienced before from an ISO 100 film.
